Evolution vs. Benoit/RKO/HBK
Chris Benoit & Shawn Michaels & Randy Orton beat Batista & Ric Flair & Triple H. Big reactions for all
six wrestlers here with Flair, Hunter and Michaels getting the biggest pops. Crowd was pumped for this and the wrestlers delivered
an enjoyable six man match. Plenty of Flair signature stuff and Hunter and Flair both having their tights pulled down and
doing flops to the mat. Main portion of the match was Benoit trying to fight off all three members of Evolution and hitting
some brutal sounding chops. Everyone hit their finishers with the exception of Triple H who got hit by a Michaels superkick
while trying to pedigree Orton. Orton and Triple H finished off with Orton getting the win with the RKO.

Evolution vs. Benoit, RKO, and HBK
Great match with Flair, Batista and Benoit working the hardest. Highlight had to be when Randy Orton banged both HHH and
flairs head together. afterwards both HHH and Flair staggered and did the Flair flop at the same time. Classic. This was a
chop fest as Flair and Benoit pounded the hell out of each other and everyone else with chops left, right and centre. Benoit
took a pounding from evolution. HBK delivered the SCM to HHH as he was about to Pedigree Randy Orton. After that Orton hit
the RKO on Batista for the Win. Crowd went nuts.

Randy Orton vs. Triple H for the Heavyweight Title
Triple H retained the World Heavyweight Title over Randy Orton. They did the Unforgiven finish with Ric Flair and Batista
interfering after Earl Hebner was taken out. Triple H pinned Orton after a belt shot. Post match saw Evolution beat down Orton
until Chris Benoit and Shelton Benjamin made the save. Orton hit the RKO on Triple H for the crowd pleasing ending. A slow
building match and on par with Unforgiven. The crowd seemed split pretty evenly between the two. Orton was far more over as
a cocky upstart at the show last May in Birmingham.

Randy Orton & Chris Benoit vs. Triple H & Batista
All four guys got big pops and the action was very good. Benoit got the crowd into the match by Chanting RKO several times,
he was also in mint condition as was everyone except Hunter. He didn’t gather that much heat, only a few boos when he
escaped the RKO and the ring a couple of times. Match ended with Orton giving RKO to Batista. We didn’t see a single
Pedigree during the match which was a disappointment to my friends. Chris and Randy celebrated in the ring for some time and
the show ended.

Match #8: Randy Orton & Chris Benoit vs HHH & Batista (10/1/2004)
I don't think one person in the whole arena was sitting during all four of these men's entrances. Batista
came out first to a fairly 50/50 reaction. Triple H was out next who got a very loud response. He took his jolly sweet time
of course going to the ring and spitting out his water. Next was Benoit who got a great response as well (He had been in Portland
all afternoon doing a radio contest). Randy was out last who got the loudest reaction of the night. He is truly the future
of this company.
The start of the match was slow because HHH refused to get in the ring with Orton right off, so he tagged
in Batista. Randy takes a good beating for a good portion of the match, he eventually tags in Benoit who cleans house but
then gets shut down when Batista and HHH team up against him. Benoit spends most of the match on the mat struggling to get
to Orton who wants in again.
Some outside the ring action begins with HHH slamming Orton onto the steel gate. Eventually all four men are
back in the ring, Benoit hits three Germans on HHH and one huge one on Batista. Orton is the legal man, Benoit has HHH occupied,
Orton out of nowhere nails the RKO on Batista and receives the victory for his team.
After the match Benoit goes over to a little boy who HHH actually blew off earlier in the match (being his
heel character) and brought him into the ring with him and Orton. Randy does a muscle pose and then the little boy does the
same thing to HHH and Batista who are watching from the walk way. This was an amazing moment and shows you what good people
these wrestlers are. Orton and Benoit pick the little guy up on their shoulder, he holds his arms up happy as can be. Orton
spends quite a bit of time at the end going around the ring hitting fan's hands twice and showing respect to everybody. He's
a great guy, who's fan base is becoming huge.

RAW Houseshow Results- 9/25/2004: Sioux City, Iowa
Last night's RAW house show emanated from Sioux City, IA. Randy Orton and Chris Benoit defeated Triple H and Batista.
Evolution dominated Orton early, with Benoit playing cheerleader with “Randy” and “RKO” chants. Benoit
made the tag and had Triple H down. He hit the diving headbutt and locked in the sharpshooter, but Batista saved. Finish came
when Orton reversed a Batista powerbomb into the RKO and the pin.
Winners: RKO/Benoit

Randy`s Thoughts About Taboo Tuesday
On October 19, RAW will host its first interactive pay-per-view, during which fans will actually create their very own
card by voting for the matches they want to see most. In fact, WWE enthusiasts will actually take over Eric Bischoff’s
job as General Manager for a night, creating intriguing match ups and wild stipulations. It won’t just be another Tuesday;
it’ll be Taboo Tuesday.
This past week at the Tucson Convention Center, WWE.com was fortunate enough to catch up with a few of the RAW Superstars
to learn what they think of the Chairman’s groundbreaking edict:
“I think that the fact that the fans are deciding our fate in the matches on the pay-per-view Taboo Tuesday is
interesting. It’s something I’ve never dealt with before, and I think that my fate, more or less, is in the hands
of the fans.
I’m curious to see not only how my match will unfold, but how the entire pay-per-view itself will unfold. This
could be a breakthrough — the beginning of something really cool. And I think that the fans will see it my way and put
me in the ring with Triple H — where I need to be, so I can prove to them, once and for all, that I do deserve to be
the World Heavyweight Champion.” - Randy Orton

Above: Randy Orton speaking to the crowd in Hollywood, CA.
WWE rolled into Los Angeles Wednesday to give a press conference for WrestleMania 21, which takes place in the Staples
Center.
All of the wrestlers and personalities in attendance spoke for a few minutes, putting over the history of WrestleMania
and their plans to make the twenty-first edition very special.
Coach served as emcee, introducing all the wrestlers to the fans as they came out to their theme music. All speakers stayed
in character.
Vince McMahon once again teased RAW vs. SmackDown! matches at the PPV, claiming it's the only PPV where superstars from
the two brands could go against one another.
JBL actually got a face reaction, as he said it was great to return to the place where he beat Eddie Guerrero for the title.
Trish Stratus guaranteed 100% Stratusfaction, while also remarking on how she has no trouble fitting into the stereotype
that Hollywood is full of "beautiful" people.
Angle was heavily booed, bringing up the fact that he competed in the Olympics and will make WM21 another big chapter in
his life.
Coach then introduced The "Legend Killer", Randy Orton who got the biggest pop of all the Superstars and a huge RKO
Chant. Orton said he was 4 years old when Wrestlemania began. He said 20 years later at Wrestlemania 20, he had achieved his
dream and made his Father proud.
Rey Mysterio largely spoke in Spanish and Torrie Wilson introduced a rep from the Staples Center who put WWE over.
Up Last Was The World Heavyweight champion. Before HHH got on the mic, there was a huge RKO chant. Triple H hyped up
Wrestlemania. He said it's been ten years since he made his Wrestlemania debut at Wrestlemania 12 in Anaheim. He said he was
the Franchise of WWE and that at Wrestlemania 21, he was going to put "some young punk" in his place once and for all. That
caused Randy Orton to get up and stare down Helmsley. Triple H told Orton that he forgets that when people are talking, he
needs to stay seated or Triple H will teach him that as well. He then said that Wrestlemania isn't going Hollywood, but Hollywood
is instead going Wrestlemania.
The event lasted about thirty minutes.

Orton: 'I am the future'

Wrestling's youngest champion ever welcomes pressure to revive the sport
When the topic of Randy Orton came up, Jonathan Coachman's snippy “Coach” character surfaced.
“He's a great young talent, he looks great, he's come a long way in a short time,” the Coach barked. “But
you can tell him I said this. He's too cocky, too soon … and Triple H is starting to teach him that on the show. As
great as he is, and as great as he's going to be, he needs to start recognizing his place … and it's not as the heavyweight
champion.”
Orton took the comments in stride.
“Well, Coach takes the view of a lot of people who have never really stepped in the ring. I know he's had a match
here and there, but he doesn't know what it's like to train, he doesn't know what it's like to recover from injury …
he doesn't know what it's like being so young, and having a father in the business like I did … he just doesn't know.”
If the Orton name rings a wrestling bell, it should. His father, “Cowboy” Bob Orton Jr., and grandfather Bob
Orton, were born in Kansas City, Kan. The Cowboy wrestled in Kansas City and on early cable shows for Vince McMahon and the
WWF.
The younger Orton, 24, was born in St. Louis, where he still lives. He grew up “kind of geek,” he says, reading
books and playing sports with friends. He had an early interest in reptiles and says he thought about studying them for a
living, but he always wanted to be a wrestler.

Match #4 Randy Orton defeats Batista
Before the match, Earl Hebner came out and got a nice hand. I thought that this would be the main event before they
annouced the battle royal. A kid about 18-20 years old had bought a Smackdown (WWE) world title and Randy Orton went over
to him, took the belt and posed with it in the ring to major cheers. The guy also got his belt back. Before the match,
Batista got on the mike and told Orton that he’s going to pay him back for braking his nose. So during the match
when both were nose to nose, Orton takes Batista’s nose and clamps his fingers on it. Orton wins with a rollup.
Winner: RKO
17 Man Battle Royal
Everybody that wrestled before came out except Snitsky. Rhyno and Tomko also came out. Simon and the Iraqi didn’t.
At the begining, Eugene go in the ring. Instead, he sat in the front row and ate some candy. Then he went over and sat
by the Fink. Fink tried to tell Eugene that he was in the match. Christian also didn’t get in right away and hid
under the ring about 3 times. After Eugene finally got into the ring and wrestled a little bit, he and Orton went in the
corner and Orton shook hands with Eugene. Then Orton put his arm around Eugene and started pointing things out. Very
funny. The final 5 were Kane, Randy Orton, Chuck, Eugene, and Christian. Eugene picked everyone one up except Orton and
gave them an airplane spin. Chuck was the next to get thrown over and then Eugene went over by Kane. Kane was going to
choke slam Christian, but instead told him to go after Orton. Those two double teamed Orton. Christian finally got out
leaving Kane and Orton. They went back and forth awhile with Orton drop kicking Kane out when Kane was on the aprion. Orton
came by and slapped hands around the ring, including mine.
Winner: RKO

*World Title Match* 8. Randy Orton Vs Triple Hİ Great match. Huge cheers for Orton, and mixed reaction for HHH. To
be honest, HHH looked great with the gold wrapped around his waist. The ref ends up getting “knocked out”
which caused Batista to run out with another ref. Batista ends up beating up the ref he brought out, beats up on Orton only
to recieve the RKO in which Orton turned around into the Pedigree.
Winner: HHH
Pops:
Cheers 1. HBK 2. Y2J 3. RKO 4. Val Venis
House Show -- 9/5/2004
Main Event- Randy Orton vs. HHH
The main event, whether Benoit or HHH was promoted against Orton, was always billed as a Texas Death Match. But for
some reason it just became a regular match. Bischoff comes out before hand talking about how his “research”
has shown that Dallas has a lot of Randy Orton fan. Now I may be the biggest Orton fan in Dallas, but I was pretty much
alone, as that crowd was about 65/45 in favor of HHH. Anyways, he says that HHH wanted to get his title back in Dallas.
So HHH comes out, followed by Orton. Orton works on the ribs that HHH was selling from RAW with the Sledgehammer. HHH then
really works over the knee of Orton. HHH ends up knocking out the ref, which led to Evolution coming out. Orton decks
Flair, but gets a spinebuster from Batista. Only a close 2-count. Orton then ends up reversing a Pedigree into an RKO
for the 1-2-3. Show ends with Orton telling Evolution that “they learned a very valuable lesson…Payback’s
A Bitch!” And with that, show over.
Winner- Randy Orton
House Show -- Dallas, Texas -- 9.4.04
And now the main event. Randy Orton vs. Triple Ass Bag oh I mean HHH. Hunter came out with tape on his ribs. When he
went for his token stand on the ring and spit the water thing he acted like the ribs really hurt him. Orton then came out
to one of the biggest pops of the night. He grabbed the mic and asked HHH if his ribs still hurt from the sledge hammer
shot he took. Orton then told him “nice tape job". HHH got in the ring and the two went back and forth. I have to
say I was very disapointed in this match. HHH worked on Orton’s leg for half the match. He put him in the figure
4 but Orton reversed it. HHH put Orton in a sleeper and brought him to the floor. After the typical “Hulk UP”
on the third drop of the hand routine, Orton fought out of the sleeper and put HHH in one of his own. HHH broke the
sleeper and the two exchanged blows. The highlight came when HHH knocked out the ref with an accidental punch. Of course
with the ref out here comes Evolution. Orton took them out one at a time starting with Batista. Flair got knocked out of the
ring. HHH put Orton in the Pedigree but Orton did a back body drop and countered it. HHH got up and Orton was waiting for
him with a nice RKO. This match was a 6-10. And would have been a complete flop if it wouldn’t have been for the Evouloution
run in at the end. After the match Orton made some comments about all the women in the crowd needed to come find him later
on tonight because he would be out and about and looking for some action. He then pointed to this girl in the front
and told her that he didn’t care if her man was with her or not. He said when you are rollin with the World Champ
everyone wants a ride. WINNER: RANDY ORTON

Match 8 World Heavyweight Championship Match Randy Orton d. Triple H
Referee Earl Hebner is out to officiate this one. My friend is elated at the sight of someone he recognizes. Orton is
using the Evolution music, and was the only oneto do so all night. I guess they’re letting him keep it? Triple H injures
Orton’s leg early on by wrapping it around the ring post, and works on it seemingly forever. This culminates in a
figure-four leglock by Triple H, which lasted for a solid minute or so before Orton is able to turn it over. Hebner breaks
up the hold, and Triple H stops Orton’s momentum short with a sleeper. Hebner checks the arm once, twice, and oh my
goodness Orton’s back up. Whew, thought the title might be in trouble there. Triple H attempts a clothesline, only to
be caught in a sleeper of Orton’s. More offense from the champion follows, with Triple H stealing Flair’s get-hit-but-don’t-fall-down-right-away
spot. I guess I didn’t have to wait that long to see Flair, since Trips is using all of his shtick anyway. An attempt
to regain the offense by Triple H leads to Hebner getting knocked into next Tuesday, which prompts the run-in by Batista.
Batista introduces the title belt to the ring, but is cut short by Orton. Orton appears to have Batista under control until
he receives a huge spinebuster. Hebner wakes up just as Triple H drapes an arm overOrton, and the crowd goes nuts as Orton
kicks out at two and nine tenths. Triple H then picks Orton up and hooks him for the Pedigree, but is reversed into the RKO
for the pin. 1 - 2 - 3
Winner: RKO
RAW House Show 8.28.2004
Coach came out and announced a few matches and started running down Randy Ortonuntil the champion came out, to a good
pop, and to get RKO’ed.
Main Event: HHH vs. RKO HHH came out first to a huge pop, RKO to a slightly smaller one. Crowd was mostly for HHH
here, even though a small RKO chant broke out. RKO won with the RKO, after Batista ran down. Winner: RKO

WWE Raw House Show from Colorado Springs, CO - 8/27/04
Randy Orton (c) def. Triple H
The crowd was pretty 50/50 for this match. A very technical battle that degenerated into a brawl as Orton managed to one-up
HHH at every turn. Orton got a couple of slaps in to start, but a big spinebuster by The Game changed the momentum. They fought
outside a bit and back in, the referee was accidentally knocked out by HHH. HHH went for the World Title, but Orton grabbed
it and floored The Game. With no referee to count, HHH eventually got back up and hit the Pedigree. A new referee ran out,
but Orton kicked out just before three! HHH laid out the new referee and went for a second Pedigree, but got hit with the
RKO. Earl Hebner was up to count three as Orton retains his title at 20:00! After HHH left, Orton grabbed a mic and said that
all of Evolution will discover that "Payback's a bitch!"
Overall this was a very enjoyable show top-to-bottom. The main event matches were both very solid and the rest of the show
was a good excercise in getting the crowd involved. Plus, a surprise appearance by The Coach is always enjoyable for me...not
sure about the rest of the crowd, though. Even without Ric Flair, tonight's house show was well worth the money and Raw live
is definitely worth checking out these next couple weeks.

WWE Raw Houseshow Results- 8-22-2004
Randy, Triple H, Benoit, Batista Scene--Triple H's music hits as all the fans in the arena got on their feet cheering on
the game. Triple H did his little water spit thing right in front of my section so that was pretty cool. Triple H got the
microphone and started to diss the Mexicans in the crowd. Then even saying, "I suck? Believe me if I did all I would have
to do is move to Palm Springs, If you know what I mean". Triple H then demanded Randy come out and hand Triple H the World
Heavyweight Championship over to him so that Randy could escape a beating today. Randy came out with no music but ran right
into the ring as they started punching each other. Batista came out and double-teamed Randy Orton. Then Chris Benoit came
out and evened the advantage so Randy and Benoit teamed up to take out Evolution. Eric came out though and stopped the fighting
making the match that Randy Orton and Chris Benoit would team up to take on Triple H and Batista!
Randy Orton & Chris Benoit vs. Triple H & Batista This match was by far the best of the night a very exciting match
- up as it was the first time besides in the Dayton I think it was this Saturday, that Randy Orton and Triple H faced off.
Randy and Chris really got Batista and Triple H good. Chris Benoit got the Germans in on Batista even. The ref got knocked
down by Triple H so the ref couldn't see Chris Benoit get Triple H in the Crippler Crossface. Eric ran out and got in the
ring and kicked Benoit in the back of the head about 5 times to break up the crossface. Eugene ran out and picked Eric up
and did an airplane spin and Stunnered him. Randy Orton got the RKO on Triple H and Randy got the three count. Triple H and
Batista walked to the back as Chris Benoit introduced Eugene, himself, and Randy. Benoit said he was the best Technical wrestler
alive, Eugene was a huge superstar, and Randy was the World Champ. Eugene even got to touch Randy's title. Then they all raised
their hands in the air.

HHH came out and sprayed water all over everyone in the front row. He started in on telling Randy Orton how only HHH
deserved the title. The crowd was yelling "you tapped out" the whole time. Orton finally came out and they went at it for
awhile until Orton started getting the edge, then Batista came out to help and then Chris Benoit came out to help Orton. After
clearing the ring, Benoit issued a challenge to HHH and Batista. HHH said NO and he and Batista walked away. Benoit and Orton
chassed them down the aisle and brought them back into the ring and the match was on. Orton took most of the pounding and
then all 4 men were in the ring. Benoit took out Batista with the flying head butt off the top rope. Orton then came out of
nowhere to take out HHH with the RKO and the pin.

Batista interfered to help beat down orton, but Benoit came out to help out Orton... They cleared the ring and as HHH and
